One of the primary calls for roadside service is battery failure. Over time battery terminals will develop corrosion. Corrosion is caused by a small leakage of acid between the metal posts and plastic case of the battery. Since this acid is directly under the battery connections the corrosion can interrupt the connections and cause premature battery or alternator failure. Proper battery maintenance is crucial for sure starts and to extend battery life.
